Recital Day Questions

What time does my dancer arrive for their recital?
We will send a detailed email during Recital week, but we usually check CORE students (1st - 12th) in 45 minutes before show time and Gym Bugs 30 minutes before.

Can I come backstage and help my child get ready?
No one is allowed backstage except performers and staff. Dancers must arrive in full costume and dance shoes with hair and makeup done.

My 5-year-old has 2 costume changes. How will she manage that without me?
We have plenty of staff to help with that. You can sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.

What is the best way to pack for costume changes?
Pack everything they need for each costume in an extra-large (1-1/2 or 2 gallons) plastic storage bag. Write their name on it and place multiple bags in a laundry basket or small plastic tub.

Can I grab my child after she performs?
No. For logistical and security reasons, dancers will return to their holding rooms after their performance. They will continue to have fun while you enjoy the rest of the show.

Does my child need a ticket to the show they're performing in?
No, performers will be backstage for the entire show.

How long will each show last?
Around 2 hours.
