Studio policies

please read ALL studio policies   carefully before registering
Registration
  • Registration will be accepted through Thanksgiving for 1st-12th graders and through January for 3 YRS - K.  

  • A $50 registration fee is charged per student each year. 

  • The registration fee is not pro-rated for students who join later in the year. 

  • Students registering for one class after August will be assessed a recital surcharge of $15 per month that they were not enrolled.

  • Students adding a 2nd or 3rd class after August will be assessed a recital surcharge of $7.50 per class per month that they were not enrolled. 

tuition policy
  • Tuition is automatically charged to your credit or debit card on file on the 1st of each month.

  • If you register before August, your card will not be charged again until September. 

  • Tuition includes all recital fees and recital costumes for up to three classes. 

  • Tuition for one class is $850 per instructional year (Aug-May), divided evenly over 10 months. 

  • Tuition will be the same whether a class meets 5 times in a long month or two times in a holiday or transitional month. 

discounts
  • We offer a sibling discount of 15% per family

  • Families who pay tuition in full receive a 5% discount

  • Discounts do not apply to registration fees, camps, auditions, RDC monthly fees, etc

tuition costs
  • 1 Class = $85

  • 2 Classes = $140

  • 3 Classes = $180

  • 4 Classes = $210

  • 5 Classes = $240

  • 6 Classes = $270

  • 7+ Classes = $300

late payment
  • A $30 late fee will be automatically applied to unpaid accounts on the 15th of each month. 

  • Families with 2 months of non-payment will be dismissed from the studio.

class drops & changes
  • Students are not under contract and are free to drop at any point.

  • Drops and transfers must be handled by the studio. 

  • Drop requests must be EMAILED before the 1st of the month.

  • Drop requests made AFTER tuition charges have run will incur a $10 administrative fee.

  • No refunds will be given after a student attends class during the month.

  • After recital costumes are ordered, they are non-refundable.

Attendance
  • Regular attendance is vital to student progress and group choreography.

  • Students who miss more than two of the final eight classes before recital may not be able to participate in the recital, at the discretion of the teacher.

inclement weather
  • We follow the Knox County school closings for morning classes.

  • An email and Facebook post announcing the status of afternoon and evening classes will be sent out around noon.

communication
  • Email is our main form of communication. Please make sure you register with a "good" email.

  • If you have not received an email from us within the first month, please contact us.

  • August 15th -First Day of Classes

  • September 5th - Labor Day | Studio Closed

  • October 10th-14th - Knox County Fall Break | Studio Closed

  • October 31st - Halloween | Studio Closed

  • November 22nd-24th - Thanksgiving | Studio Closed

  • December 18th-January 5th - Christmas Break | Studio Closed

  • January 16th - Martin Luther King Day | Studio Closed

  • February 20th - President's Day | Studio OPEN

  • March 13th-17th - Knox County Spring Break | Studio Closed

  • April 10th - Easter Monday | Studio OPEN

  • May 11th-18th | Please hold this week for dress rehearsals at Knoxville Civic Auditorium. We will confirm exact dates by early February.

  • May 19th & 20th - Recital Shows at Knoxville Civic Auditorium

Recital
  • Recitals shows will take place the week of May 19th - 20th.

  • Each class will be in only one show.

  • Students enrolled in more than one class may be in more than one show.

  • Specific show and rehearsal assignments will be posted in the studio, on the website, and emailed to families by early February.
